How we handle your information.
What this is
PeriNote is an early-access landing page for an upcoming iOS app that helps people organize symptom notes ahead of clinician visits. This policy describes what personal information we collect through this website and how we handle it. The iOS app, when released, will have its own in-app privacy disclosures.
Information we collect
- Email address you submit to the early-access form.
- Optional survey responses indicating which use case interests you most (e.g. "Prepare for a doctor appointment"). These are voluntary.
- Signup-source metadata: campaign tracking parameters (UTM tags) and the page you arrived from, used to understand which channels work and how to allocate marketing.
- Standard request information Vercel and Cloudflare log automatically — IP address, user agent, request timestamps — used for fraud prevention and basic analytics.
- Cookies and pixel events from advertising partners (e.g. Meta) when you visit from an ad. These help measure ad performance and may be used to retarget you with PeriNote ads on those platforms.
We do not collect health data, symptom data, medical history, or anything similar from this website. Symptom tracking will only happen inside the iOS app, with separate disclosures.
How we use it
- To send you early-access updates, the sample report walkthrough, and a beta invite.
- To improve our marketing — understanding which messages, channels, and creative resonate.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service running reliably.
Where it lives
Email addresses and survey responses are stored with our email service provider, Kit. Website hosting is via Vercel. Domain and email routing are handled by Cloudflare. Each of these providers has its own privacy practices.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above, in order to operate the service, and as required by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Request deletion of your data by emailing hello@perinote.app. We'll remove your address from our list within a reasonable period.
- Opt out of ad tracking using your browser's "Do Not Track" or "Limit Ad Tracking" settings, or your operating system's privacy controls.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information described above, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems that store it. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure; we'll let affected users know if a relevant breach occurs.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top, and we'll notify the email list when changes are significant.
Not medical advice
PeriNote is for personal organization and appointment preparation only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about health concerns.
